How the comparison works
“Games like VHOLUME” is not an objective ranking. This guide compares games by four traits supported by VHOLUME's official presentation: first-person movement, parkour, speed-focused replay, and community-created maps.
Choose the trait you care about most before looking for an alternative. A game can share the first-person perspective without matching the route-practice loop, or support speedrunning without offering the same urban parkour feel.
What is confirmed
Steam exposes a “more like this” section for VHOLUME, which confirms that players search for comparison options. Its recommendations can change, so this page does not publish a fixed top-ten list or imply official endorsement.
Useful comparison starting points
These are comparison lanes, not a ranking or a claim that any title is an official recommendation. Check each store page for current price, platform and availability.
| Game | Why VHOLUME players compare it | What is different |
|---|---|---|
| BABBDI | Short first-person exploration, platforming and a surreal, empty city; it shares Léonard Lemaitre in the developer credits. | Exploration-first and free-to-play; no VHOLUME-style full campaign or Workshop claim is implied. |
| Mirror's Edge Catalyst | First-person urban parkour and route planning across a city. | Story/action adventure with a different world, combat and open-world structure. |
| Neon White | Single-player speedrunning FPS with parkour moves and leaderboard pressure. | Card-based shooting and puzzle routing replace VHOLUME's climb/slide city traversal. |
| Ghostrunner | Fast first-person movement, wall runs and precision route execution. | Combat is central, with one-hit kills and a cyberpunk action structure. |
Use the table to choose the next experience by the part you liked: empty-city exploration (BABBDI), pure urban parkour (Mirror's Edge), time-trial routing (Neon White), or high-risk movement plus combat (Ghostrunner). It is a reader-facing comparison, not a scorecard.
Choose your next route
- For movement depth, review the VHOLUME tech index and compare those practice goals with another game's movement systems.
- For repeatable timed routes, use the racetrack speedrun guide as your comparison baseline.
- For community content, compare the VHOLUME Workshop with another game's creation and subscription tools.
If none of those lanes fit, use Steam's live “More like this” panel and record the date you checked it. That keeps a recommendation page useful without hard-coding a list that will age.
Specific recommendations will be added only when they can be checked against current store and developer information.
